Growing up, I always felt out of place, different. Too soft, overly sensitive. Not made for ‘this world’. I struggled to be myself against the backdrop of a culture and environment that told me that I couldn't be ‘me’. Throughout my teenage years, I struggled to be comfortable in my own skin. I pined for the approval of others. Yet I was deeply lonely.

When I was about 20, I had a spontaneous spiritual awakening that helped me to re-remember the nature of this life: that time was a made up construct and that the divine followed us everywhere and orchestrated everything. I began to experience spontaneous tingling all over my body; at night I dreamt vividly of other realms. This was to be the start of my spiritual journey. And despite the love and euphoria I felt when I ‘awakened’, much confusion and pain followed me into my early 20s.

The years that have followed have not ceased to be tumultuous. Different qualifications, relationships, friendship circles, jobs, religions, philosophies. In each I looked for solace and healing - I was seeking. While I have been gifted with meeting some beautiful people along the way, the outside world did not offer me true peace. I was forced to turn inwards to confront and heal the pain and trauma inside me.

Each juncture has brought me more peace and joy. Various healers and modalities (including the ones I offer) have helped me deeply. Yet healing is always unfolding - and each cycle of ‘soul healing’ brings me deeper back to my self.

One of the gifts of my healing (the painful, tender work of healing) has been a (re-)awakening of my own gifts. Healing and energy work have come naturally and they continue to be refined.
